Day 1 Marrakech

          Arrival and guided tour

 

Day 2 Marrakech – Demnate – Ouarzazate

          Departure by 4x4 to Demnate, a Berber village famous for the natural Imi-n-ifri bridge and dinosaur footprints. The road then crosses the High Atlas Mountains to reach Ouarzazate, the city of cinema.

Overnight stay in a typical guesthouse

 

Day 3 Skora - Rose Valley - Dades Gorges

         Departure to the Skora palm grove and its beautiful kasbahs. After Kelaa M'gouna and the Rose Valley, the road to Boutaghar crosses a rocky plateau where nomadic troglodytes live. In Ait Youl, the road leads along colorful and surprising rock formations to the Dades Gorge.

 

Day 4 M'Semrir - Imilchil

         After the gorges walk, the road continues along the Dadès wadi to M'Semrir and Agoudal, small Berber mountain villages. In Imichil, located on a plateau at an altitude of 2,200 m, you will discover lakes Asli and Taslit, which, according to legend, were born from the tears of two young lovers separated by their parents.

 

Day 5 Imitate the Gorges - Goulmima - Merzouga

    Departure to the Imiter Gorges, an oasis of peace away from the tourist routes, before joining Goulmima and its old ksar. The road then leads to Merzouga, at the foot of the dunes. Ride a camel to admire the sunset.

Dinner and overnight stay in a Berber tent.

 

Day 6 Tamnougalte - Ouarzazate

         Sunrise spectacle, then drive through Tafilalt and the vast minerals of the Bougafer Massif before reaching Alnif and Tazzarine. From Tansikht the route leads through the palm groves and oases of the Draa Valley to Tamnougalt, the former caravan scene, and then Agdz and the typical market square. Continuing to Ouarzazate in lunar landscapes via the Tizi-n-Tinffift pass.

Day 7 Ouarzazate – Oasis of Fint – Kasbah Tifoultoute – Film studios

                     Departure in a 4x4 towards the palm grove and oasis of Fint, this little paradise lost in the middle of a rocky and mountainous desert, a short walk and meeting the villagers, perhaps even drinking tea with the locals. Continuing to the Tifoultoute Kasbah, visit and tea on the terrace of the Kasbah, then continuing to the cinema studios to see the idea of films shot in the regions, some of which have achieved great worldwide success.

 

Day 8 Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech

        The return takes place along the old caravan route through Ait ben Haddou, a magnificent UNESCO heritage site, and then through the Kasbah of Telouet, the ancestral home of Pasha Glaoui. Crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass offers Marrakech stunning scenery.
